Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc)-Cairo University, 2025. Summary: The thesis is a contribution to the field of module theory. The thesis consists of three main chapters (Chapters 2, 3, and 4). In Chapter 2, we continue studying and investigat- ing the class of C4-modules introduced in [18]. We introduce and investigate thoroughly two new subclasses of C4-modules; namely, the classes of C4∗-modules and strongly C4∗- modules, showing that these two notions extend non-trivially the U ∗-modules, a notion introduced in [27] which in turn extends non-trivially the classes of a-modules, q-modules, and π-modules. In Chapter 3, we study when a module has a pseudo-continuous hull and a C4-hull (i.e., a minimal pseudo-continuous (resp., C4-) extension), where the class of pseudo-continuous modules is a proper subclass of that of C4-modules. Our work in this part is motivated by the works of Johnson and Wong in [35]; Goel and Jain in [21]; Birkenmeier, Park and Rizvi in [8]; and A. Alahmdi, S.K. Jain and A. Leroy in [1]. In Chapter 4, we give partial answers to the well-known open problem of Crawley and Jóns- son [16], which asks whether the finite exchange property of modules implies the full exchange property.Summary: تعتبر هذه الرسالة إسهام فى نظرية التشكيلات. الرسالة مكونة من ثلاثة أبواب رئيسية ( الأبواب الثانى والثالث والرابع). فى الباب الثانى نستكمل دراسة وفحص فئة تشكيلات C4 المقدمة آنفًا فى المجال. سنقدم ونفحص جديًا فئتين جزئيتين من فئة تشكيلات C4 وهما فئة "تشكيلات C4^*" وفئة "تشكيلات C4^* القوية"، مبيّنًا أن هاتين المفهومين هما تعميمان غير تافهين لفئة "تشكيلات U^*" المقدمة آنفًا والتى بدورها تعتبر تعميم غير تافه لفئات "تشكيلات q" و "تشكيلات a" و "تشكيلات π". فى الباب الثالث ندرس متى يكون للتشكيل غطاء "متصل زائف" وغطاء C4 (نقصد بغطاء "متصل زائف" أصغر إمتداد "متصل زائف" للتشكيل ونقصد بغطاء C4 أصغر غطاء C4 للتشكيل)، حيث فئة التشكيلات المتصلة الزائفة هى فئة جزئية ولا تساوى فئة تشكيلات C4. تم تحفيز نتائجنا فى هذا الصدد من أعمال جونسون-وونج، جول-جين، بيركنماير-بارك-ريزفى، الأحمدى-جين-لوروى. فى الباب الرابع نعطى إجابات جزئية لمسألة كراولى-جونسون المفتوحة المشهورة حول ما إذا كانت خاصية التبادل المنتهية للتشكيلات تستلزم خاصية التبادل غير المنتهية.
