تتكون الرسالة من مقدمة وتمهيد وخمس فصول وخاتمة وقائمة بالمصادر والمراجع العربية والاجنبية والمواقع الالكترونية.
ويتناول الفصل الأول التعدين فى صحراء مصر الشرقية خلال العصرين البطلمى والرومانى، ومعرفة مواقع التعدين فى العصرين البطلمى والرومانى، وكيفية إنتاج الذهب البطلمى؟ ودراسة أهم المعادن التى تم العثورعليها فى مناجم صحراء مصر الشرقية خلال العصرين البطلمى والرومانى.
ويتناول الفصل الثانى المحاجر البطلمية والمحاجر الرومانية فى صحراء مصر الشرقية وكيفية إدارتها ومعرفة الوظائف التى كانت توجد بالمحاجر ورواتب العاملين، وأسباب قلة المحاجر البطلمية فى صحراء مصر الشرقية.
ويتناول الفصل الثالث الأثار النباتية والحيوانية ودورها داخل المناجم والمحاجر، ودراسة بقايا الأطعمة النباتية مثل الحبوب والبذور والفاكهة والخضروات والموالح ، وكذلك عظام الحيوانات والمنسوجات والجلود وبعض البرديات خلال الحفائر الأثرية.
ويتناول الفصل الرابع منشآت التعدين العسكرية التى عثر عليها بصحراء مصر الشرقية خلال العصرين البطلمى والرومانى، مثل الحصون ودراسة المنشأت الداخلية لتلك الحصون من آبار وصهاريج وحمامات وأماكن للعبادة.
ويتناول الفصل الخامس دراسة تحليلية لما توصل إليها الباحث من نتائج.

The thesis consists of an introduction, a preface, five chapters, a conclusion, a list of literary sources, textual sources, Arabic and foreign references, and websites.
The first chapter deals with mining in the Eastern Desert of Egypt during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras, identifying mining sites in the Ptolemaic and Roman eras, how Ptolemaic gold was produced, and studying the most important minerals found in the mines of the Eastern Desert of Egypt during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras.
The second chapter deals with the Ptolemaic and Roman quarries in the Eastern Desert of Egypt and how to manage them and know the jobs that existed in the quarries and the salaries of workers, and the reasons for the scarcity of Ptolemaic quarries in the Eastern Desert of Egypt.
The third chapter deals with plant and animal remains and their role inside mines and quarries, and studying the remains of plant foods such as grains, seeds, fruits, vegetables, and citrus fruits, as well as animal bones, textiles, leather, and some papyri during archaeological excavations.
Chapter Four deals with military mining facilities found in the Eastern Desert of Egypt during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras, such as forts and a study of the internal facilities of these forts, including wells, cisterns, baths and places of worship.
Chapter Five deals with an analytical study of the researcher's findings.
