:Idiopathic interstitial pneumonias (IIPs) comprise a heterogenous group
of disorders with varying combination and degrees of inflammation and
fibrosis.
The prognosis of patients with fibrotic lung disorders is difficult to
predict. However, it is of crucial significance in the decision of the
therapeutic strategy. Enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes (MLN) are often
prevalent on chest computed tomography (CT) scans in patients with IIPs.
This study investigated the prognostic worth of MLN enlargement in
patients with IIPs in predicting clinically relevant outcomes and hence
therapeutic modification to improve clinical outcome.
تشمل الالتهابات الرئوية الخلالية مجهولة السبب (IIPs) مجموعةً غير متجانسة من الاضطرابات ذات درجات وتركيبات متفاوتة من الالتهاب والتليف.
يصعب التنبؤ بتوقعات المرضى المصابين باضطرابات الرئة التليفية. ومع ذلك، يُعدّ هذا التنبؤ بالغ الأهمية في تحديد الاستراتيجية العلاجية. غالبًا ما يُلاحظ تضخم الغدد الليمفاوية المنصفية (MLN) في فحوصات التصوير المقطعي المحوسب للصدر لدى مرضى الالتهابات الرئوية الخلالية مجهولة السبب.
بحثت هذه الدراسة في الأهمية التنبؤية لتضخم الغدد الليمفاوية المنصفية لدى مرضى الالتهابات الرئوية الخلالية مجهولة السبب في التنبؤ بالنتائج السريرية ذات الصلة، وبالتالي في إجراء التعديلات العلاجية لتحسين النتائج السريرية.
