هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل اتجاهات الرأي العام الأردني نحو القضايا المحلية. تعد هذه الدراسة من الدراسات الميدانية، اعتمد الباحث منهج المسح الإعلامي بشقيه الكمي والكيفي في جمع البيانات عن طريق أساليب وطرق الإحصاء الوصفي وتحويلها إلى بيانات كمية قابلة للتعامل الإحصائي، ولغايات جمع البيانات والمعلومات المطلوبة لإتمام الدراسة الحالية، فقد اعتمد الباحث على وحدة معاينة ضمت قادة الرأي العام بالأردن المتفاعل مع الشبكات الاجتماعية، واعتمدت الدراسة على مجموعة من الفرضيات تم اختبارها والتأكد من صحتها. وتم الاعتماد في هذه الدراسة على نوعين من مصادر المعلومات هما المصادر الأولية والمصادر الثانوية، وقام الباحث بالاستعانة بالأساليب الإحصائية ضمن برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية ((SPSS في تحليل البيانات التي تم جمعها من خلال الدراسة الميدانية، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج منها: وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين دوافع متابعة قادة الرأي العام في الأردن لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في مناقشة القضايا المحلية والاشباعات المتحققة من متابعة قادة الرأي العام في الأردن لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي التي تناقش القضايا المحلية، وتبين وجود فروق معنوية ذات دلالة معنوية وفقا لخصائص عينة الدراسة فيما يتعلق بتقييم خصائص الموضوعية التي تراعيها شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في مناقشة القضايا المحلية من وجهة نظر قادة الرأي العام في الأردن. وقدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات منها ضرورة إدراك أهمية الموضوعات المطروحة والقضايا التي تعالجها شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي لدورها الهام في تشكيل اتجاهات الرأي العام الأردني نحو القضايا المحلية.

This study aimed to shed light on the role of social media networks in shaping Jordanian public opinion trends towards local issues. This study is considered a field study. The researcher adopted the media survey method, both quantitative and qualitative, in collecting data through descriptive statistical methods and techniques and converting them into quantitative data that can be dealt with statistically. For the purposes of collecting the data and information required to complete the current study, the researcher relied on a survey unit that included public opinion leaders in Jordan who interact with social networks. The study relied on a set of hypotheses that were tested and verified. This study relied on two types of information sources: primary sources and secondary sources. The researcher used statistical methods within the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program to analyze the data collected through the field study. The study reached a number of results, including: the existence of a correlation between the motives of public opinion leaders in Jordan following social media networks to discuss local issues and the satisfactions achieved from public opinion leaders in Jordan following social media networks that discuss local issues. There were significant differences according to the characteristics of the study sample regarding the evaluation of the objectivity characteristics that social media networks take into account in discussing local issues from the point of view of public opinion leaders in Jordan. The study presented a set of recommendations, including the need to recognize the importance of the topics raised and the issues addressed by social media networks due to their important role in shaping Jordanian public opinion trends towards local issues.
