This study addresses the " The Role of Jurisprudential Rules and Principles in Contemporary Codifications ؛ Egyptian Personal Status Law as Model. It aims at proving the effectiveness of these jurisprudential rules and principles in formulating the provisions of the Egyptian Personal Status Law, through their jurisprudential rooting and explaining their counterparts from the texts of this law. To do this, these Jurisprudential rules are taken into consideration in terms of any legal amendments and they will be one of the sources of this law.
