The research underscores that development is not just a temporal phase but a comprehensive process requiring optimal resource use, ensuring sustainability for present and future generations. It emphasizes development as a basic human right, necessitating international and national commitments. However, various factors hinder the UN's ability to achieve sustainable development goals, including financial resource constraints, political commitment issues, and national policy discrepancies across member states. The study also addresses how global challenges, such as armed conflicts, economic crises, and climate change, directly impact development efforts. It stresses the necessity for integrated strategies that consider economic, social, political, and environmental factors. Furthermore, the UN's development efforts, although multifaceted, face significant obstacles such as resource limitations, policy variances, and geopolitical constraints that hinder the full realization of development goals. Despite achieving some developmental goals, such as reducing poverty, improving education quality, and enhancing women's rights, the study concludes that these successes are uneven, and challenges persist, particularly in countries with political instability and economic limitations. It calls for structural reforms within the UN to enhance its effectiveness in managing international development issues, including better governance, resource management, and enhanced cooperation between member states and international organizations.
