The research examines the structural analysis of stone vaults in Mamluk Islamic architecture, focusing on restoration and strengthening methods, through an applied study on the ceiling of the Durqa'a in Khayr Bey Mosque and the Qibla Iwan of Sultan Hasan School. Chapter One explores the development of stone vaults from early Islam to the Mamluk period, analyzing their types and functions through a field study. Chapter Two discusses construction methods and materials, analyzing stone samples. Chapter Three examines vault behavior under loads, causes of deterioration, and proposed strengthening solutions.
