شهد العصر العباسي دعوة للحداثة والتجديد في الشعر؛ وتمثَّلت هذه الحداثة في الخروج عن المألوف في القيم الفنية والأشكال الثابتة للقصيدة العربية, وظهرت منطلقات جديدة مخالفة لما كان سائدًا. تجلَّت هذه الحداثة في الغزل في هذه الفترة, وكانت عاملًا مؤثرًا على خصائص الغزل بصفة خاصة والشعر بصفة عامة؛ من حيث الشكل, والمضمون, واللغة, والإيقاع, واستخدام أدوات فنية بصور جديدة, جعلت الشعر قادرًا على استيعاب حضارة العصر وثقافته, ومن هنا كانت أهمية الموضوع في دراسة أثر الحداثة العباسية على شعر الغزل, وتهدف الدراسة إلى توضيح صورة المرأة في القصيدة الحداثية العباسية, وبيان أثر الحداثة في بنية القصيدة الغزلية, وتعتمد الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في تحليل شعر الغزل, وتحديد مستويات الحداثة في القصيدة الغزلية من خلال التركيز على ملامح التجديد في شكل القصيدة الغزلية.

The Abbasid era had witnessed a call for modernism and renewal in poetry. This modernism was represented in departing from the norm in the artistic values and fixed forms of the Arabic poem. New starting points emerged that were contrary to what was prevalent. This modernism was manifested in the poetry of flirtation at this era. It was an influential factor on the characteristics of flirtation poetry in particular and poetry in general, in terms of form, content, language, and rhythm. Using artistic tools with new images made poetry capable of absorbing the civilization and culture of the era. Hence the importance of the topic in studying the impact of Abbasid modernism on poetry of flirtation. The study aims to clarify the image of women in the modern Abbasid poem, and to show the effect of modernism on the structure of the flirtation poem. The study relies on the descriptive analytical approach in analyzing for the flirtation poetry and determining the levels of modernism in flirtation poetry by focusing on the features of innovation in the form of flirtation poetry.
