In the field of Strategic Management, The majority of scholars think that Dynamic
Capabilities are critical to attaining a competitive advantage. However, there are still
variations over the meaning and impact of Dynamic Capabilities, as well as the role of
Environmental Dynamism.
This study examined Wang and Ahmed's (2007) three basic component elements of
Dynamic Capabilities, "adaptive capability, absorptive capability, and innovative
capability" as dimensions of Dynamic Capabilities.
The study aimed to gain a better understanding of the nature of the relationship between
Dynamic Capabilities and Competitive Advantage. It also aimed to study the role of
Environmental Dynamism in the relationship between Dynamic Capabilities and
Competitive Advantage in Information and Communications organizations listed to the
Egyptian Stock Exchange. The findings demonstrated a positive relationship between
Dynamic Capabilities and Competitive Advantage, which is consistent with the body of
literature in this topic. The findings also demonstrated that Environmental Dynamism is a
key driver in the relationship between Dynamic Capabilities and Competitive Advantage
in the organizations under study.

يعتقد أغلب الباحثين أن القدرات الديناميكية تشكل أهمية بالغة في اكتساب الميزة التنافسية في الإدارة الاستراتيجية. إلا أن هناك خلافات مستمرة حول تعريف وتأثير القدرات الديناميكية، وكذلك أهمية التغيرات البيئية.
وقد اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على العوامل الرئيسية الثلاثة المكونة للقدرات الديناميكية التي حددها Wang and Ahmed, (2007)، وهي "القدرات التكيفية، والقدرات الاستيعابية، والقدرات الإبداعية" كأبعاد للقدرات الديناميكية.
وهدفت الدراسة إلى زيادة فهم طبيعة العلاقة بين القدرات الديناميكية والميزة التنافسية. كما هدفت إلى التحقق من دور التغيرات البيئية في العلاقة بين القدرات الديناميكية والميزة التنافسية في المنظمات العاملة في مجال الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات المدرجة في سوق الأوراق المالية المصرية.
وقد كشفت النتائج عن وجود علاقة إيجابية بين القدرات الديناميكية والميزة التنافسية، وهذا يتفق مع التيار السائد للأدبيات في هذا المجال. كما كشفت النتائج أن التغيرات البيئية تلعب كمتغير مستقل آخر في العلاقة بين القدرات الديناميكية والميزة التنافسية في المنظمات قيد الدراسة
