هدف البحث الحالي إلى تحسين التواصل الاجتماعي لدى الأطفال ذوي الإصابة الدماغية من خلال برنامج قائم على الوظائف التنفيذية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (6) أطفال من الذكور والإناث المترددين على عيادة النطق والكلام بكلية العلاج الطبيعي جامعة القاهرة، وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (4 – 8) سنوات وتراوحت نسبة ذكائهم (70 – 89)، وشملت أدوات الدراسة مقياس التواصل الاجتماعي (إعداد الباحثة) وبرنامج تنمية التواصل الاجتماعي القائم على الوظائف التنفيذية (إعداد الباحثة)، اختبار استانفورد بينية الصورة الخامسة (إعداد: أبو النيل 2011)، وأسفرت نتائج البحث عن فاعلية الوظائف التنفيذية لتحسين التواصل الاجتماعي لدى الأطفال ذوي الإصابة الدماغية، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات أطفال الإصابة الدماغية في القياسين القبلي والبعدي بعد تطبيق البرنامج القائم على الوظائف التنفيذية في اتجاه القياس البعدي على مقياس التواصل الاجتماعي، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الأطفال ذوي الإصابة الدماغية في القياسين البعدي والتتبعي بعد تطبيق البرنامج على مقياس التواصل الاجتماعي بعد مرور شهر من القياس البعدي.

This aim of the current research is to improve social communication in children with brain injuries through a program based on executive functions , the study sample consisted of six children (both boys and girls) with brain injuries who were attending the speech and language clinic at the faculty of physical therapy – Cairo university , their ages ranged from4 to 8 years ,and their IQ scores were between (70 to 89) ,the study tools included the social communication scale (developed by the researcher), the executive function based social communication program (developed by the researcher) , and the stanford – binet fifth edition test (developed by Abu El-Nil, 2011)And The results of the research revealed the effectiveness of executive functions in children with brain injuries , there were statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the brain-injured children’s scores in the pre-test and post-test after implementing the executive function- based social communication program , with the post –test showing better results on the social communication scale ,and there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of children with brain-injuries in the post-test and follow –up test on the social communication scale l one month after the post –test.
