A cross sectional study was conducted to assess qualitatively and quantitatively the role of sheep and goats in transmitting brucellosis to cattle and man Direct contact with sheep and goats was considered a risk factor for occurrence of bovine and human brucellosis ; the tested bovine and human populations were classified according to the exposure status to the risk factor
