Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Cardiology Summary: Aim of the study : The aim of the study was to examine whether measuring of brain natriuretic peptide ( BNP ) Improves the ability to identify high - risk patients wih UA/NSTEMI who will benefit from an early invasive strategy . Conclusion : The present study found that there is trend toward higher mortallity with increasing levels of BNP (by quartile) but this trend was not statistically significant
