The aim of this work was to study the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in aurora-A (Ph31 }le polymorphism) comparing the frequency distribution of different genotypes between breast carcinoma patients ; patients with fibroadenoma and healthy women to define its tumorigenic contribution to breast cancer development being one of the mos important regulatory components of cell cycle machinery in breast cancer patients
