Present and future wide-body airliners (such as the airbus 330 and boeing 767) are powered by high bypass turbofan engines (HBPR). Cases studies are three spools mixed and unmixed turbofan engines (trent 700). It is studied the effect of bleed air in engine performance parameters. Matlab-7 is used to simulate and analyze thermal cycle of both cases
