Patients with chronic kidney disease belong to the group of patients with a high prevalence of cardiovascular disease . Atherosclerosis is a common cause of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with chronic kidney disease . Anomalies of left ventricular ( LV ) structure and function are very frequent too among CKD patients and show a negative impact on cardiovascular prognosis
