However its administration with a full dose displays a number of drawbacks. In this study, hot saline extract (HSE) and periplasmic soluble brucella protein (SBP) were extracted from B.abortus S19 and their protective activity against challenge with a field isolate was recovered from aborted ewe was measured in BALB/c mice
