Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biophysics
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) represents a major challenge for the health community in Egypt. It is the most widely spread viral infection of liver. Knowing that the currently available treatment (interferon-Ü and ribavirin combination) is expensive and effective only on 50-60% of treated patients, it is thus crucially important to exert maximum effort in the design of new formulations aiming to achieve better treatment performance
