Research in the last two decades has documented a high level of burden in caregivers of bipolar disorder. The aim of this study is to assess the dimensions of burden experienced by bipolar caregivers, to measure the social support from family, friends and significant others, and to address the rewards that the caregivers gain from the caregiving process
