This study examines the performance of Impulse vVentilation System (IVS) for smoke control in underground tunnels. The study shows the effect of Heat Release Rate (HRR) and fire location on temperatures, velocity, visibility, CO concentration and evacuation time. Fire Dynamic Simulator (FDS) version 5.5.3 shows an acceptable agreement with experimental data
