The thesis is concerned with the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) of unknown parameters of the Beta-weibull distribution (BW) based on type {u2161} censored samples. Maximum obtained. Simulation studies are carried out to investigate the properties of the maximum likelihood estimates in the case of two and three unknown parameters. A numerical example and application to real data are presented when four parameters are unknown
