Objective: there are two different approaches to place the dental implants. The purpose of this study was to compare between the effects of the flap vs. flapless implant surgeries using tissue punch technique on the soft tissue profile. Results: The flap technique showed statistically significantly higher mean probing depth and more apical shift of soft tissues than flapless technique while showed statistically significantly lower mean papillary index than flapless. Conclusion: It could be concluded that the flapless implant surgery results in better soft tissue profile compared to the flap technique
