Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Chemical Engineering Summary: Bioethanol is produced from sugars, In this study bioethanol was produced from cull dates, sugars in cull dates, with respective dry weight ranges of 58.6% .The objective of this research is to study the parameters effect on bioethanol extraction and fermentation from cull dates, study of the reaction kinetics and determination of fuel Properties of Ethanol/Gasoline Blends as Bio-fuel. The obtained results revealed that ethanol was produced with 95% purity, 95.7% elution and 95.3% fermentation efficiency, economic possibility for producing 343 liter ethanol per one ton cull dates
