Spectrophotometric determination of diazepam (DZP) via charge transfer complex formation between DZP (electron donor) and DDQ and p-CLA ({uF070}-acceptor) reagents. 2- Development of modified and in situ modified carbon paste ion-selective electrodes for the determination of chlorpromazine HCl (CPZ.HCl) in pure and pharmaceutical formulation. The modified and in situ modified carbon paste electrodes were characterized and optimized with respect to the main experimental parameters affecting the electrode performance, including pH, temperature, response time and interferences. The electrodes showed good selectivity for CPZ.HCl with respect to some inorganic cations, sugars and glycine. The developed electrodes have been used successfully for the determination of CPZ.HCl in pharmaceutical preparation using standard addition, potentiometric titration and calibration methods. The obtained results were in good agreement with those obtained using the official method
