Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Neurosurgery
Interbody fusion techniques have been developed to preserve the load bearing capacity of the spine, restore sagittal plane alignment and facilitate compressive loading on bone. All of which enhance the potential for fusion. TLIF is a safe and simple method for interbody fusion it avoid thecal retraction or nerve root retraction in this study we have been operated upon 20 patients with fusion rates 95%
