Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Chemical Engineering Summary: The present thesis presents the details of the parametric study for the esterification reaction coupled with pervaporation process .the target of thesis is to enhance the esterification process by breaking thermodynamic equilibrium via selective removal of water through the pervaporation membrane. A mathematical model was developed to describe the process. The experimental results were compared with the predicted results from the model and good matching was found
