The aim of the present work was to determine the incidence of C .perfringens in laboratory animals using biotechnology in rapid detection of C.perferingens toxins and evaluating cytotoxicity of the C. perfringens type A and D toxins by using a tissue culture assay (Vero cells and MBDK cells) as a sensitive and rapid method responsible for diseases in laboratory animal. Also in this study the prevalence rate of both E.coli and Salmonella was detected. Serotyping of both E.coli and Salmonella isolates was carried out, as well as detection of some virulence attributes strains of both E.coli and Salmonella. Antimicrobial sensitivity pattern was carried out for the isolates to determine the antibiotic of choice for treatment of the affected laboratory animals
