Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Physics
In this work, two series of samples were prepared by using the citrate nitrate autocombustion method. First group deals with the structural and physical properties of (Li/Ag) nanoparticles of the formula Li₀.₅-xAgxFe₂.₅O₄; x = 0.0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1. In this group, XRD, HRTEM, IR, magnetic susceptibility, hysteresis loop, and ac electrical properties were investigated to obtain the optimum concentration of Ag content. Second group deals with the effect of molecular weight of polyethylene glycol (PEG) molecule as shell on Li/Ag as core to form core/ shell in nanoscales. The physical properties of the nanometric samples were studied to obtain the more applicable nano core/ shell samples
