The Purpose: of this study was to investigate the effect of bipolar radiofrequency on treatment of acne vulgaris. Subjects: Thirty patients of 13 males and 17 females selected randomly from outpatient clinics, shobra general Hospital, Cairo, Egypt. They assigned into two groups equal in number. Their ages ranged from 18 to 25 years. Group (I) with mean age (21.2 ±2.366) years and Group (II) with mean age (21.533 ±1.726) years. Methods: Acne global severity scale and digital camera to evaluate acne degree before and after the study. Group (I) 15 patients suffer from inflammatory acne vulgaris with grade II to grade IV on acne global severity scale received bipolar radiofrequency twice/week for one month plus medications (salicylic acid soap) twice/day, Group (II) 15 patients suffer from inflammatory acne vulgaris with grade II to grade IV on acne global severity scale received medications (salicylic acid soap) twice/day only for one month. Results: There was a significant improvement in inflammatory acne in study group compared to the control group. In relation to acne global severity scale and photographic assessment. Conclusion: Bipolar radiofrequency is effective in treatment of inflammatory acne vulgaris and improving cosmetic appearance
