The T-RfYg framework of generating families of distributions was presented by Aljarrah et al. (2014). This framework was used by many authors to generate di erent families of distributions. It is used here to generate two new families of distributions, the T-GumbelfYg family and the T-Modi ed WeibullfYg family. Using di erent distributions for T, R and Y, the T-GumbelfFr echetg, the T-Modi ed weibullfLog-Logisticg, the Lomax-GumbelfFr echetg, the exponentiated Lomax-GumbelfFr echetg and the lomax-Modi edWeibullfLog-Logisticg are generated and studied. The parameters of these distributions are estimated using the MLE method. Some applications to real data sets are provided to illustrate the usefulness of the distributions compared with some other distributions
