This is a prospective study of 58 patients with pathologically proved Ewing sarcoma . Multiple PET imaging parameters have been used to predict histologic response. Our study showed 90% reduction in TLG is predictor of histological response while other PET parameters do not predict histological response including SUVmax . Also , it showed that 60 ml pre-local control TLG value is an appropriate cut off for prediction of histological response . Results : PET/CT is superior to conventional metastatic work-up in initial staging with higher sensitivity . 90% reduction of TLG at the threshold of hepatic reference SUVmean can predict poor histological response . Cut off SUVmax{u2264}2.5 can predict histological response with wide confidence interval
