The risk analysis is an important tool which can be used to help improve and optimize the safety of the road tunnels. Based on the UPTUN D221 research project and Memorial Tunnel Fire Ventilation Test Program, this thesis applies a computational study on the Memorial Tunnel by using CFD program to demonstrate that rescue workers / fire fighters can safely approach the accident / fires scene from the upstream tunnel zone. CFD is a powerful tool that can simulate Fire with 3D simulation when comparing validation model with experimental data
