Background context: Management of Pilon fractures is a challenge to the orthopaedic surgeon due to soft tissue damage, extensive comminution, intraarticular extension and lack of vascularity. There is an increasing trend of using anterolateral plate due to an adequate soft tissue cover on anterolateral distal tibia. Purpose: To evaluate the results and complications of minimally invasive anterolateral locking plate in management of distal tibial fractures. Patient Sample: Prospective case series of 25 patients with distal tibial fractures with an average of 12 m of follow-up. Outcome Measures: Patients were assessed with radiological outcome by Teeny and Wiss score and the functional outcome by AOFAS scale to evaluate the bone and soft tissue healing and complications. Radiological union was confirmed with plain x-rays at 12 months postoperatively. Methods: This is a prospective study of twenty five adult patients with distal tibial fractures treated by anterolateral 3.5mm distal Tibial LCP by MIPPO technique between May 2015 and February 2017 were included in the study
