This study aimed to evaluate the importance of dipstick urinalysis as a simple and inexpensive test in early detection of renal disorders in asymptomatic preschool children that lead to early intervention and better prognosis. The study included 500 asymptomatic children aging ,from 3 to 6 years old, from 3 different nurseries in Fakous city, Sharkia governorate. We found that ,after doing three urine analysis screenings in different times, the significance of dipstick urinalysis in our study results are almost identical or less valuable than other studies and this screening should be continued and followed up in other studies and other communities of the country
