Some applications of biotechnology of several strains of marine cyanobacteria were investigatedResults confirmed that the tested marine strains were belonging to the genera : Xenococcus , Synechocystis , Synechococcus , Pseudoanabaena , Anabaena and NostocAll strains were found to fix N2 effectively and the most active one was Nostoc spas it produced 5347mole C2H4 ml - 1 culture 1 h - 1Also
