<br/><br/> The first part of the thesis deals with the reaction of 3- bromoacety 1-1,5- dipheny1-1H pyrazole-4- carbonitrile (18) with pyridine quinoline or 2me quinoline to give the corresponding pyridinium quinlium or 2 mequinliume brmide salt the first and second salts reacted with some activated alkenes and acetylenes to give the corresponding indolizine and pyrroloquinoline derivatives respectively
