Ahmed Mohamed elKaiaty thesis advisor. text theses ua 2022 monographic eng ara 139, 3 p. : illustrations ; 25cm+ CD This work was carried out to study the effect of dry yeast (1 g Sc / kg diet) and yeast cell wall (0.3 g YC / kg diet) and yeast extract (0.7 g YE / kg diet) on the broilers growth performance (live body weight, body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, mortality rate and some carcass traits), some hematological and biochemical blood parameters, microbiology, immunological and histological measurements during the experimental period (1 to 35 days of age). A total number of 192 one day old male broilers chicks (Cobb 500were randomly distributed into four treatment groups of 48 chicks each with 4 replicates (12 chicks of each) from 3 days after hatch (experimental initiation) to the end of the experiment at 5 weeks old (experimental termination). Results obtained indicated, significant improvement in LBW at 6 weeks of age, BWG and FCR at 6 weeks of age in the group fed diet containing 0.1 % Sc, comparing with those receiving 0.03% YC or 0.07% YE. Villus height and Crypt depth for each of small intestine (duodenum, jejunum and ileum) significantly increased with the level of 0.1 % Sc and 0.03 % YC while compared with control and 0.07 % YE, but Tb, Alb, Glb and Glucose concentrations had significantly increased with the level of 0.1 % Sc and 0.07 % YE.
