N2  - Eggs of Spilostethus pandurus Scoploiwere imaged by light and
scanning electron microscope to explore external morphology of egg.
Different developmental stages were studied by whole mount preparations.
SEM showed that S. pandurusegg has micrpoylar opening its number vary
from 11-13. Appendages appeared after 48 h. Weakness lines were apparent
before emergence of the embryo.
Transmission electron microscope was used to obtain cross sectioned
images of embryonic development during different developmental stages.
The early developmental stages showed cleavage nuclei migrating towards
the periphery of the egg to form the periplasm and the blastoderm. The
germband invaginated to form two distinct extraembryonic membranes;
amnion and serosa which are involved in several key morphogenetic events
at specific developmental stages were described. At the late developmental
stage the cuticle layer is secreted by the embryo of S. pandurus. The tracheal
system of S. pandurus was also describe; تم تصوير بيض سبيلوستيزوس بانديروس بالمجهر الضوئى و الماسح االلكترونى لدراسة المورفولوجيا الخارجية للبيض. تمت دراسة مراحل النمو المختلفة من خالل تحضيرات التحميل الكلى. أظهر المجهر الماسح االكلترونى ان بيض سبيلوستيزوس بانديروسيحتوى على 11-13 نقير. بعد 48 ساعه بدأت ظهوراألطراف كما اتضحت خطوط الضعف قبل خروج الجنين. تم استخدام المجهر اإللكتروني النافذ للحصول على صور مقطعية مستعرضة للتطور الجنيني خالل مراحل النمو المختلفة. أظهرت مراحل النمو المبكرة أناالنوية المنقسمةتهاجر نحو اطراف البيضة لتكوين الطبقة المولدة للخاليا)البالستودرم( و البيربالسم. كما ان الطبقة المولدة للخاليا انغلقت لتكوين غشاءين خارجيين و هم السلى و الغشاء المصلى اللذين لهما دور في العديد من األحداث المؤثرة على الشكل في مراحل تطورالمحددة. فى مرحلة التطور المتأخرة يتم إفراز طبقة البشرة للجنينسبيلوستيزوس بانديروس. كما تم وصف نظام القصبة الهوائيةسبيلوستيزوس بانديروس
