تعتبر موجات التسونامي واحدة من أخطر الكوارث الطبيعية التي يمكن أن تواجهها المجتمعات الساحلية. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تناول التخطيط الوقائي كأحد أهم أساليب التعامل مع الكوارث الطبيعية للحد من المخاطر التي تتعرض لها المجتمعات الساحلية من خلال تحليل وتقييم مدى استعداد المجتمعات الساحلية المصرية لمواجهة كارثة تسونامي، ودراسة الاستراتيجيات والأساليب المستخدمة للتخفيف من آثارها. آثار الكوارث، والتوصية بخطة وقائية لتعزيز الاستعداد والاستجابة في حالة حدوث تسونامي. تبدأ الدراسة بتحديد المشكلة الرئيسية، وهي ضعف استعداد المجتمعات الساحلية، وخاصة المصرية، لمواجهة الكوارث الطبيعية، وتحديدًا كارثة تسونامي. وتشير الإشكالية إلى قلة الوعي بالكارثة وغياب التخطيط الوقائي، وتسلط الضوء على الحاجة الملحة للتركيز على هذا الموضوع. وتظهر أهمية البحث من خلال دراسة تأثير كارثة التسونامي على المجتمعات الساحلية وتداعياتها الواسعة على السكان والبنية التحتية والاقتصاد. تتضمن أسئلة البحث مجموعة من الأسئلة الموجهة التي تساهم في تحقيق الأهداف الموضوعة. وتشمل أسئلة البحث مستويات استعداد المجتمعات الساحلية المصرية لكارثة تسونامي، والاستراتيجيات المستخدمة حاليًا للتخفيف من آثار الكوارث، والخطوات الواجب اتخاذها لتعزيز الاستعداد والاستجابة في حالة حدوث تسونامي. وتم استخدام منهجية البحث التي شملت الاستبيانات والمسوحات الميدانية لعينة من سكان المجتمعات الساحلية المصرية، تمكنت الدراسة من تحليل المستوى الحالي لوعي المجتمعات الساحلية وتحديد أدوات وآليات تفعيل التخطيط الوقائي. ويسعى هذا البحث إلى تعزيز الوعي بأهمية التخطيط الوقائي لمواجهة الكوارث والتخفيف من آثارها في المجتمعات الساحلية المصرية، وتوفير إطار وقائي قوي يمكن أن يقلل من الآثار السلبية لكوارث تسونامي في المجتمعات الساحلية المصرية. ومن المتوقع أن تكون نتائج البحث ذات قيمة للمسؤولين والمتخصصين في مجال إدارة الكوارث وتنمية المجتمع الساحلي، وأن تساهم في تحسين الاستعداد والاستجابة لكوارث تسونامي المستقبلية. تعد هذه الدراسة خطوة مهمة نحو فهم أفضل لتحديات التخطيط للكوارث والتخفيف من آثارها في المجتمعات الساحلية المصرية. وبالتالي، يأمل الباحثون أن تساهم هذه الدراسة في تعزيز السلامة والاستدامة في تلك المناطق المهمة والمعرضة لخطر التسونامي Tsunami is one of the most serious natural disasters that coastal communities can face. This research aims to address the contingency planning as one of the most important approaches to dealing with natural disasters to reduce risks to coastal communities through analyzing and evaluating the preparedness of Egyptian coastal communities to face the tsunami disaster, studying the strategies and approaches used to mitigate the effects of disasters, and recommending a contingency plan to enhance preparedness and response in the event of a tsunami. The study begins by identifying the main problem, which unsustainable conditions of coastal communities, especially Egyptian ones, to face natural disasters, namely the tsunami disaster. The problematic refers to the lack of awareness of the disaster and the absence of contingency planning and highlights the urgent need to focus on this topic. The importance of research is shown by studying the impact of the tsunami on coastal communities and its wide repercussions on the population, infrastructure, and economy. The main objectives of the research is to identify and asses the preparedness plans for the Egyptian coastal communities to face tsunami disaster. The research study the strategies and approaches to mitigate the effects of disasters, and consulate recommendation for a comprehensive contingency plan to enhance preparedness and response in the event of a tsunami. Using a comprehensive research methodology that included a number of several and analytes studies in addition to questionnaires and field surveys of a sample of residents of Egyptian coastal communities, the study was able to analyze the current level of awareness of coastal communities and identify tools and mechanisms to activate contingency planning. This research seeks to promote awareness of the importance of disaster planning and mitigation in Egyptian coastal communities, and to provide a strong contingency framework that can reduce the negative impacts of tsunami disasters(etc). The results of the research are expected to be valuable for officials and specialists in the field of disaster management and coastal community development and contribute to improving the preparedness and response to future tsunami disasters. This study is an important step towards a better understanding of the challenges of disaster planning and mitigation in Egyptian coastal communities. Thus, the researchers hope that this study will contribute to enhancing safety and sustainability in those areas that are important and at risk of tsunami.
