N2  - Tourism is one of the world's fastest-growing industries and an important source of foreign exchange and employment while closely linked to many countries' social, economic, and environmental welfare, especially developing countries.  This study investigates the impact of the technical and vocational education and training reform program TVET Egypt” on the workforce quality in the tourism sector.
The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: There is a positive impact of the “TVET Egypt program“ on the human resources in the tourism sector, as the program helps in improving the mental image of the Egyptian society for technical education and vocational training; Also, there was an increase on the quality of services provided by the technical education and vocational training system; Moreover, the program facilitates the transition to the labor market by maximizing the efficiency of students and current workers; السياحة هي واحدة من أسرع الصناعات نمواً على مستوى العالم ومصدر مهم للعملة الأجنبية كما أنها ترتبط ارتباطاً وثيقاً بالرفاهية الإجتماعية والإقتصادية والبيئية للعديد من البلدان، وخاصة البلدان النامية. تبحث هذه الدراسة في تأثير برنامج إصلاح التعليم والتدريب الفني والمهني "TVET Egypt" على جودة القوى العاملة في قطاع السياحة.
يمكن تلخيص نتائج الدراسة على النحو التالي: هناك تأثير إيجابي لبرنامج "TVET Egypt" على الموارد البشرية في قطاع السياحة، حيث يساعد البرنامج في تحسين الصورة الذهنية للمجتمع المصري للتعليم الفني والتدريب المهني؛ كما كان هناك زيادة في جودة الخدمات التي يقدمها نظام التعليم الفني والتدريب المهني؛ علاوة على ذلك، يسهل البرنامج الانتقال إلى سوق العمل من خلال تعظيم كفاءة الطلاب والعاملين الحاليين
