تعد المكتبات العامة والمكتبات المدرسية من المقومات الأساسية التى يرتكز عليها نحاج وتطوير المجتمعات، لما لهما من دور أساسى فى النهوض بالعملية التعليمية ومحو الأمية المعلوماتية ونشر الثقافة، فأصبح الهدف الأساسى المشترك بينهما هو دعم المستفيدين، وإكسابهم مهارات التعلم الذاتى، لذلك اتجهت العديد من الدول لصنع الشراكة وتشاطر المصادر بين المكتبات العامة والمكتبات المدرسية، للاستفادة منها بأقصى الدرجات لدعم الحياة البشرية. وقد هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على خدمات المكتبات العامة والمدرسية المقدمة فى محافظة الأقصر، وتقييم الوضع الحالى من خلال مقارنته بخدمات المعلومات الحديثة، وتأثير الإمكانيات المادية والبشرية على تقديم خدمات المعلومات بها، كما هدفت أيضًا إلى التخطيط المستقبلى للتعاون بين المكتبات العامة والمكتبات المدرسية بالأقصر بوضع مقترح لرفع مستوى الخدمة، وتفعيل دورهما فى محو الأمية المعلوماتية، وعليه قامت الدراسة بتطبيق فكرة التعاون بين مكتبات الدراسة، وتنفيذ بعض خدمات وأنشطة المقترح. يقتصر مجتمع الدراسة على المكتبات العامة (مكتبات الكبار) والمكتبات المدرسية (ثانوى عام- حكومى) فى حضر محافظة الأقصر، والعينة التى تم اختيارها لإجراء الدراسة تتكون من 8 مكتبات عامة تابعة لجهات مختلفة كالهيئة العامة لقصور الثقافة والمجالس المحلية و12 مكتبة مدرسية ليكون إجمالى العينة 20 مكتبة. واعتمدت الدراسة لتحقيق أهدافها على المنهج الوصفى التحليلى؛ إذ تم جمع البيانات باستخدام قائمة المراجعة المقدمة إلى مديرى ورؤساء الأقسام وأخصائيي المكتبات بمكتبات الدراسة. توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أبرزها:1- ضعف الخدمات المكتبية المقدمة فى المكتبات العامة والمكتبات المدرسية فى محافظة الأقصر واقتصارها على الخدمات التقليدية (الإعارة الخارجية، الاطلاع الداخلى)، وعدم مواكبتها للتطور التكنولوجى الحديث فى تقديم الخدمات المكتبية، فهى تفتقر لكل ما هو جديد ورقمى لضعف إمكانياتها المادية والبشرية. 2- أهمية إنشاء التعاون بين المكتبات العامة والمكتبات المدرسية فى محافظة الأقصر لرفع كفاءة المستوى الثقافى والتعليمى لسكان المحافظة، ودعم العملية التعليمية وتسهيل المناهج الدراسية لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية العامة. 3- يبرز مقترح التعاون بالدراسة أهمية تطوير خدمات المكتبات العامة والمكتبات المدرسية من خلال تقديم خدمات خاصة لطلاب الدمج (ذوي الهمم)، والتى تثقل مهاراتهم العقلية والنفسية وتقدم الدعم النفسي لأولياء أمورهم. 4 - كان لتطبيق مقترح التعاون أثر فعال على طلاب المرحلة الثانوية حيث أدى إلى وجود تحسن ملحوظ في أدائهم الدراسى، كما أثر على زيادة أعداد المشتركين بمكتبة مصر العامة، نتيجة توافرالعديد من الخدمات والأنشطة التى لبت احتياجات رواد المكتبة. - Public libraries and school libraries are among the basic elements on which the success and development of societies is based,because of their fundamental role in promoting the ducational process, information literacy, and the spread of culture. They have in common the main goal to support the enrollees and to give them self-learning skills. This has led many countries to create partnerships and share resources between public libraries and school libraries to benefit from them to the maximum to support human life. - The study aimed at identifying public and school library services providing in Luxor and evaluation the current state by comparison with modern information services, and the impact of physical and human capabilities on providing information services and planning future cooperation among public and school libraries in Luxor to level up the service and activate their role in information literacy, Based on that, the study applies the concept of collaboration and executing someproposal's services and activities sharing between the study's libraries. - The community of the study is limited to public libraries (libraries for adults) and school libraries (secondary public - governmental) in Luxor governorate, and the sample that was chosen to conduct the study consists of 8 public libraries belonging to different parties such as the General Authority for Cultural Palaces and local councils and 12 school libraries to be the total of the sample is 20 libraries. - The study was based on the descriptive analytical approach , the data were collected using the checklist provided to department managers and heads and the librarians of school libraries. * The study found several outcomes: 1- Services provided in public libraries and school libraries in Luxor governorate and are limited to the normal known services (external lending , internal access), and their failure to keep pace with the development of modern provision of services , as they lack all that is new and digital due to their weak material and human capabilities. 2- The importance of cooperation between Public and school libraries in Luxor governorate to enhance the efficiency of the cultural andeducational standard for the locals at the governorate and to support the process of education, in addition to facilitate syllabus for the secondary stage. 3-The scheme of cooperation brings the importance of school and public libraries development into view through delivering special services for integration disabled students which improve their mental and psychic abilities and present the psychic upholding for their parents . 4- The application of this proposal had an effective effect on secondary school students as their study performance was upgraded , and thus increasing the number of participants at Miser Public Library abd this is a result of rendering many ervices and activities that met the needs
