<br/><br/> Streaming video on demand (SVOD) platforms are currently widespread for exposure to dramatic content especially between the youth, which pinpoints the importance of studying the content on these platforms and its effects as it contains behavioral deviations that are opposite to the Egyptian culture, religious views and traditions. To study such phenomena, this study applied the Third Person Effect to conduct a survey for 400 Egyptian young adults via online questionnaire to determine the influence of the third person effect on their perception towards the exposure of others to content containing behavioral deviations as suicide, homosexuality and dating violence on Netflix, to distinguish the presence of their support to censorship on media content as a result of third person effect and to identify the effects of the exposure to the behavioral deviations on themselves. It was found that Egyptian young adults perceive others to be more negatively affected by behavioral deviations on Netflix such as suicide, homosexuality and dating violence than themselves (Third-person effect), as a result, they have supported censorship on content presented on Netflix. Additionally, a minor portion of the study sample has been affected by the content themselves (First-person effect).  اكتسبت منصات البث العالمية مثل منصة نتفلكس حضورًا كبيرًا وانتشارًا عالميًا في السنوات الأخيرة، مما تسبب في تأثيرات مختلفة على الجمهور تتطلب دراستها. لقد تسبب تقديم الانحرافات السلوكية في الدراما الأجنبية على منصة نتفلكس في حدوث مثل هذه التأثيرات التي تستحق الدراسة لاستكشاف تأثيرها على الجمهور، لدراسة هذه التأثيرات كان لهذه الدراسة عدة أهداف، أولاً، لتحديد تأثير الشخص الثالث على إدراك الشباب تجاه تعرض الآخرين لمحتوى يحتوي على انحرافات سلوكية مثل الانتحار والمثلية الجنسية والعنف في المواعدة على منصة نتفلكس. ثانيًا، للتعرف على دعم الشباب للرقابة على محتوى الوسائط نتيجة لتأثير الشخص الثالث. وثالثًا، لتحديد العلاقة بين التعرض للانحرافات السلوكية مثل الانتحار والمثلية الجنسية والعنف في المواعدة وإدراك الشباب المصري. وباستخدام منهجية المسح والاستبيان الإلكتروني كأداة لجمع البيانات، تم جمع الاستجابات من الشباب المصريين للتعبير عن إدراكهم أن الآخرين يتأثرون سلبًا بالانحرافات السلوكية على منصة نتفلكس مثل الانتحار والمثلية الجنسية والعنف في المواعدة أكثر منهم (تأثير الشخص الثالث)، ونتيجة لذلك، فقد دعموا الرقابة على المحتوى المعروض على منصة نتفلكس. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تأثر جزء صغير من عينة الدراسة بالمحتوى نفسه (تأثير الشخص الأول).
