N2  - Twenty-seven lactating Egyptian buffaloes (600 ± 50 kg average body weight; in the first to fourth season of lactation) were randomly divided into three similar groups to study the partial substitution of yellow corn grains (YCG) by dried orange pulp (DOP) during the summer season. The YCG were replaced by DOP at levels of 0, 30 and 60% in R1 (control), R2 and R3, respectively.  The dry matter intake (DMI) was decreased by 0.63 and 0.83 kg DM in R2 and R3, respectively, compared to control. Digestion coefficient  and TDN value was not affected Otherwise, CP digestibility and digestible CP were significantly decreased by increasing the DOP replacement level, unlikely, CF digestibility which found increased in R2 and R3 comparing to R1 (p ˂ 0.05). There was no significant difference found overall the blood parameters measured and milk yield and composition  Further, concentrate feed mixture cost (LE/ ton) was lower by 6.6% and 13.17 % in R2 and R3, respectively, compared to R1 that would positively effect on decreasing the feed cost to produce 1 kg milk. It could be concluded that this study would be, economically, and applicable in ruminant feed factories and lactating cattle farms
; تم تقسيم سبعة وعشرون رأس من الجاموس المصري الحلاب (متوسط وزن الجسم 600 ± 50 كجم، في الموسم الأول إلى الرابع من الحليب) عشوائيًا إلى ثلاث مجموعات متماثلة لدراسة الاستبدال الجزئي لحبوب الذرة الصفراء  بتفل البرتقال المجفف خلال موسم الصيف. تم دراسة استهلاك الأعلاف، معامل هضم المركبات الغذائية، إنتاج اللبن وتركيبه، بعض مؤشرات الدم والكفاءة الاقتصادية. وتم استبدال حبوب الذرة الصفراء بتفل البرتقال عند مستويات 0 و30 و60% في R1 (المقارنة) وR2 وR3 على التوالي.لوحظ انخفاض في إستهلاك المادة الجافة بمقدار 0.63 و0.83 كجم في R2 وR3، على التوالي، مقارنة مجموعة المقارنة. لم تتأثرمعاملات الهضم  و قيمة المركبات الكلية المهضومة (TDN) بالمعاملة (P > 0.05). بخلاف ذلك، انخفض معامل هضم البروتين وكذلك البروتين المهضوم بشكل ملحوظ من خلال زيادة مستوى استبدال تفل البرتقال المجفف. و أزداد معامل هضم الألياف الخام في R2 وR3 مقارنة بـ R1 (P ˂ 0.05). لم يكن هناك اختلاف كبير في مؤشرات الدم وأيضًا  انتاج اللبن وتركيبه ، انخفضت تكلفة مخلوط العلف المركز (جنيه/طن) بنسبة 6.6% و13.2% في R2 وR3 على التوالي، مقارنة بـ R1 مما يؤثر إيجاباً على تخفيض تكاليف التغذية لإنتاج 1 كجم حليب. هذه الدراسة قابله للتطبيق اقتصادياً في مصانع أعلاف المجترات ومزارع الماشيه الحلابة.
