N2  - Tumors of the lateral ventricle are somewhat uncommon, develop slowly, and might enlarge before  presenting symptoms. Fundamental factors determining the selection of surgical techniques are the intraventricular tumors' type, size, location, expansion, and vascularization. Many, but not all, of these lesions can be completely excised by the transcortical or transcallosal approach.
      This study aimed to assess the outcome between both approaches regarding extent of
resection, post operative neurological deficit, tumor recurrence, need for CSFdiversion and CSF
infection; تعد اضطرابات الحركة المفرطة أو الحركات اللاإرادية والمتكررة في كثير من الأحيان الى صعوبة ممارسة نظام الحياة اليومي ويعد مرض شلل الرعاش والرعشة الأساسية، وتعد أمراض اعتلال الحركة من الامراض التي تؤثر على الصحة ونوعية الحياة، كما أن العبء العالمي للمرض مرتفع جدا على الاقتصاد والرعاية الصحية.
وفي هذه الدراسة قمنا بتقييم النتائج الاكلينيكية لجراحة كي نواة المهاد ونواة الكرة الشاحبة ومقارنتها بالتداخلات الجراحية والعلاج الدوائي بالدراسات الأخرى بالأعوام السابقة
