N2  - Fifty Patients with planter fasciitis, aged 20–50 years, from both sexes referred from the orthopedic outpatient clinics for this study. Patients were randomly assigned to two equal groups. Patients in the experimental group received Graston technique in addition to exercise program, while patients in the control group received exercise program only. The outcome measures were pain intensity by visual analogue scale, pain on the first step at the morning by numeric pain rating scale, foot function by Foot and Ankle Ability Measure, pain threshold by pressure algometer, and planter fascia thickness by ultrasonography. Using Graston technique in combination with exercise program may reduce pain, pain at the morning and increase pain threshold more than exercise program only. But, using Graston technique did not have obvious effect on planter fascia thickness or foot function; شارك خمسون مريضًا يعانون من التهاب اللفافة الاخمصيه، تتراوح أعمارهم بين 20-50 عامًا، من كلا الجنسين،. تم توزيع المرضى بشكل عشوائي على مجموعتين متساويتين. تلقى المرضى في المجموعة التجريبية تقنية جراستون بالإضافة إلى برنامج التمرين، بينما تلقى المرضى في المجموعة الضابطة برنامج التمرين فقط. وكانت مقاييس النتائج هي شدة الألم عن طريق المقياس التناظري البصري، والألم في الخطوة الأولى في الصباح بواسطة مقياس تصنيف الألم الرقمي، ووظيفة القدم عن طريق قياس قدرة القدم والكاحل، وعتبة الألم عن طريق مقياس الضغط، وسمك اللفافة الاخمصيه عن طريق التصوير بالموجات فوق الصوتية. إن استخدام تقنية جراستون مع برنامج التمارين الرياضية قد يقلل من الألم والألم في الصباح ويزيد من عتبة الألم أكثر من برنامج التمارين الرياضية فقط. لكن استخدام تقنية جراستون لم يكن له تأثير واضح على سمك اللفافة الاخمصيه أو وظيفة القدم
