<br/><br/> اشتمل البحث على ثلاثة فصول؛ جاء الأول منهما بعنوان: تعريف الجواب المسكت ، وأهم ما صنف فيه، والثاني بعنوان: الحجاج: مفهومه وقيمته، وجذوره في الدراسات العربية والدراسات الغربية، على حين جاء الثالث بعنوان: الحجاج في العصر الحديث وعلاقته بالبلاغة والتداولية والأسلوبية، ثم خاتمة احتوت على أهم نتائج البحث، والتوصيات، وقد سلكت الدراسة منهج البحث التحليلي.  The research included three chapters: The first of them was entitled: Definition of the Silent Answer, and the most important things that were classified in it, and the second was entitled: Al-Hajjaj: Its concept, value, and roots in Arabic and Western studies, while the third was entitled: Al-Hajjaj in the modern era and its relationship to rhetoric, pragmatics, and stylistics, then a conclusion that contained the most important results. Research and recommendations. The study followed an analytical research approach.
