N2  - Aim: this study was conducted to evaluate the effect of submental liposuction with advancement genioplasty versus advancement genioplasty alone on esthetics in double chin patients.
Methodology: twenty six patients with deficient chin were included in the study. The patients were distributed into two groups, submental fat liposuction in conjunction with advancement genioplasty group as intervention one and advancement genioplasty alone as control group. Preoperative and postoperative CT was performed for all patients. With the help of MIMICS, 3-MATIC, DOLPHIN and PROPLAN soft wares, diagnosis, virtual planning, and evaluation was done. Patient-satisfaction was evaluated by Face-Q questionnaire.
Results: the study was conducted on 26 patients with deficient chin, 88.9 % were females and 11.1% were males. The mean age of cases was (25.5±3.5 years), clinically all cases went uneventful, there were non statistically significant differences regarding soft tissue relapse between study and control groups. All patients showed statistically significant increase in scores of (Satisfaction with chin), (Psychological well-being) and (Social well- being) scales.
Conclusions: submental fat liposuction can be a good intervention choice in mild -moderate chin deficient cases when added to advancement genioplasty procedure
; اجريت هـــذه الدراسة على 26 مريضا يعانون من الذقن الناقص المزدوج, وتم توزيع المرضى على مجموعتين, مجموعة التدخل الاولى تم علاجها عن طريق شفط الدهون تحت الذقنية مع الترميم الانزلاقي لعظم الذقن, ومجموعة المقارنة الثانية تم علاجها عن طريق الترميم الانزلاقي لعظم الذقن منفردا
تم اجراء التشخيص والتحليل الافتراضي والتقييم لجميع المرضى عن طريق اشعة 
والبرامج الاتية: CT
DOLPHIN & PROPLAN
بالنسبة لمجموعة التداخل تم شفط الدهون باستخدام ابرة غير حادة مع الترميم الانزلاقي لعظم الذقن, اما مجموعة المقارنة تم عمل الترميم الانزلاقي فقط لعظم الذقن وفي كلا المجموعتين تم تثيبت الذقن بواسطة شرائح ومسامير معدنية.
 تم تقييم وضع الذقن بواسطة برنامج PROPLAN                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         وتم تقييم رضا المرضى بواسطه FACE Q  QUESTIONNAIRE                                                                               	 
جميع المرضى اظهروا رضا من تحسن شكل الذقن وتحسن وضعهم النفسي وحياتهم الاجتماعية  وحسن رضائهم عن الخدمه الطبية ومستوى الجراحين والفريق الطبي المشارك في الدراسة
