N2  - Covid-19 pandemic had affected all life aspects. Consequences and extraordinary restrictions (social distancing, confinement and quarantining) have been imposed to save lives, minimize infections and control the spread of the virus and maintain resilience healthcare facilities. Since then, people tended to spend more than 90% of their times at their homes. Therefore, it is necessary to study how to design a healthy and livable home that supports residents’ comfort and presents healthier indoor environments. The main goal of this thesis is to study and evaluate suitable residential buildings’ strategies (RBSs) that mainly consider pandemic conditions and attain IEQ; لقد أثرت جائحة كورونا على جميع جوانب الحياة. حيث تم اتخاذ العديد من الإجراءات الوقائية (التباعد الاجتماعي، حظر التجول والعزل الذاتي للمصابين) لمحاولة السيطرة على انتشار الوباء، الحفاظ على حياة المواطنين وتقليل أعداد الإصابات والوفيات. وترتب على ذلك لجوء الأغلبية لقضاء معظم أوقاتهم في مساكنهم. لذلك أصبح من الضروري دراسة كيفية تصميم مسكن صحي تتوفر به معايير جودة الحياة ولديه القدرة لتحقيق الراحة لساكنيه وتوفير بيئة داخلية صحية لهم. الهدف الرئيسي لهذا البحث هو دراسة وتقييم استراتيجيات البناء في المباني السكنية، التي تحترم بشكل أساسي ظروف الوباء وتحقق معايير جودة البيئة الداخلية.
