<br/><br/> This thesis deals with contribution to the analysis of some carboxylic acid derivative pharmaceutical compounds. Two mixtures were selected for study and research: one of them contains Tetracycline HCl, Metronidazole, and Bismuth subcitrate potassium, while the other one contains Antipyrine, and Benzocaine HCl.<br/>The aim of the work was to develop new analytical methods for determination of the previously mentioned drugs with sufficient degree of accuracy and precision. Also, to analyze these drugs by applying the developed methods in their pharmaceutical dosage forms and compared to the previously published or approved literature in the Pharmacopoeia.<br/>This thesis consists of four parts in addition to a list of references and two abstracts and summaries in Arabic and English:<br/>Part I: General introduction and literature review<br/>Part II: Determination of Tetracycline HCl, Metronidazole and Bismuth subcitrate in raw material and dosage form by different analytical techniques<br/>Part III: Determination of Antipyrine and Benzocaine HCl combination in raw material and dosage form by different analytical techniques<br/>Part IV: General conclusion   تتناول هذه الرسالة تقييم جودة لبعض الأدوية المحتوية على مشتقات حمض الكربوكسيلك فى الأوساط المختلفة وقد تم اختيار خليطان من هذه الأدوية للدراسة والبحث : خليط من الميترونيدازول و هيدروكلوريد التيتراسيكلين و تحت سيترات بزموت البوتاسيوم , خليط من الانتيبيرين و هيدروكلوريد البينزوكين. <br/> والهدف من هذه الرسالة هو إنشاء طرائق جديدة لتحليل الأدوية السابق ذكرها على أن تكون هذه الطرائق على درجة   كافيه من السهولة والدقة وكذلك قد تم تحليل هذه الادوية بتطبيق هذه الطرائق عليها فى اشكالها الصيدلية ومقارنتها بطرائق منشورة مسبقا او معتمدة فى هيئة الدستور الدوائى.<br/>تتكون هذه الرسالة من أربعة أجزاء بالاضافة الى قائمة المراجع وملخصين باللغتين العربية والانجليزية:<br/>الجزء الأول: مقدمة عامة عن المركبات المحتوية على مشتقات حمض الكربوكسيلك و مراجعة للتراث العلمى للأدوية المختارة.<br/>الجزء الثاني:. تعيين دواء الميترونيدازول و هيدروكلوريد التيتراسيكلين و تحت سيترات بزموت البوتاسيوم باستخدام الأساليب التحليلية المختلفة.<br/>الجزء الثالث: تعيين دواء الانتيبيرين و هيدروكلوريد البينزوكين باستخدام الأساليب التحليلية المختلفة.<br/>الجزء الرابع: خاتمة عامة عن طرق التحليل المستحدثة لتعيين الأدوية المختارة.
