This research explores the impact of Critical Success Factors (CSFs) on the performance of telecommunication projects, with a focus on Telecom Egypt as an applied case study. CSFs are evaluated across key dimensions: Human Resources, Project Management, Technological Capabilities, Cost, Time, and Quality. A statistically robust methodology was employed, with a sample size of 370 determined at a 95% confidence level. Data were collected through questionnaires, yielding high reliability and validity. Cronbach’s Alpha values ranged between 0.872 and 0.938 for Project Performance dimensions and 0.900 to 0.937 for CSFs, confirming strong internal consistency. The findings demonstrate significant positive relationships between CSFs and Project Performance. The main hypothesis was supported with high confidence, revealing a strong effect (coefficient of 1.459) of Human Resources on Project Performance. Sub-hypotheses indicate similar positive relationships for Project Management and Technological Capabilities. Moreover, Cost, Time, and Quality also significantly influence performance, with coefficients of 0.781, 0.835, and 0.836, respectively. Factor loadings further affirm the robustness of these dimensions, ranging between 0.601 and 0.855. The study confirms that CSFs collectively contribute to explaining between 55.9% and 69.9% of variations in Project Performance. Discriminant validity tests, including the Fornell and Larker criteria, establish the uniqueness of each dimension, with Human Resources (0.802), Project Management (0.769), and Technological Capabilities (0.748) demonstrating high values. This research underscores the pivotal role of CSFs in driving project success in the telecommunication sector.
