Chapter two: includes description of a review article on the Pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile ring explaining the methods for synthesizing this ring from different starting materials and other derivatives and explaining the biological activity of promising compounds.
Chapter three:Development of some pyrimidine-5-carbonitrilederivativesas PI3Kinhibitorsand evaluation of their anticancer activity; تتألف هذه الرسالة العلمية من ثلاثة فصول بالإضافة إلى ملخص وخاتمة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية يليها بعض التوصيات. 
الفصل الأول: ويشمل مقدمة عن السرطان وملخص مختصرعن أنواعه وخصوصا سرطان الثدي.
الفصل الثاني : وتتضمن وصف مقالة مرجعية لحلقة بيريميدين- 5-كربونيتريل مع توضيح طرق تصنييع هذه الحل قةمن مواد أولية مختلفة وتصنييع المشتقات الأخرى و توضيح أهمية النشاطالبيولوجي للمركبات الواعدة.
